MOMSnext First Breakout Session

MOMSnext & Friendship

MOMSnext first official meeting was a success! We kicked off our very first break out. As we walked across the hall to breakout we were all unsure what to expect, unsure what would be the topic and unaware of the setting. What we walked into was a meeting place that instantly became one of connection. We all sat down at two round tables joined together and immediately we read a beautiful story about the symbolism of Elephants and what an amazing strong bond they possess. Including the fact that during fight or injury they quite literally hold eachother up. We received a beautiful key chain with 2 adorable elephants on it as a reminder!  

After we had a video scheduled that went into friendship. This video was great! Talking about the importance of friendship and even learning to prioritize friendships in your life. I loved the speaker and the way she spoke. She talked about connections and broke down different kinds of friendships. We learned about reciprocal friendships and how important it was to have friends in our lives that can be a part of a give and take relationship. We finished the video and quickly began with a few round table questions and the connection was immediate! Each person began to volunteer answers and perspective. It was absolutely incredible.  

We joined MOPS once again and made, as a group of over 80 women, beautiful wreaths out of Gold metal rings, eucalyptus leaves, ribbon and words to display such as FAMILY and BLESSED. What a perfect first gathering as a breakout. The bonding, the learning, the giggling, and the open hearts of some very special and beautiful women!!
