IT WORKS FOR ME

"It works for me" is part of our MOPS meeting Segment that makes OUR group unique as we share our own member ideas, parenting successes, favorite things,  family activities, go- to recipes,  family traditions, marriage/romance igniters, Mommy Aha-moments and routines that we have adopted over time in our families THAT WORKS FOR US and MAYBE YOU TOO!

I look forward to any and all ideas you can share with us over time- when it is your tables turn- none are to little or insignificant to share- I promise! You all have things you do that work for YOU- so please share!

Melanie: Put a bigger sticker- cut in half- inside a shoe. this way kids can line it up like a puzzle and match the right foot to the right shoe etc., and this way my kids can still dress "all by yourself" and have no more ducky feet neither!

Amethyst: Put your hanger backwards in your closet. If they are still backwards after a year... it is time to donate these and make room in your closet!

Amanda: Easy go to recipe for my family: Put chicken breast in crockpot, add Shake N Bake BBQ. Yum!

Marilyn: Toys that lay around get picked up into a cardboard box. They don't get things back until Sunday.

Jan: Use drying pads for dishes, It absorbs water and makes doing dishes and pots/ pans easier.

Michele: Kids put there own laundry away and pick out the clothes for the whole week. It makes morning routine easier.

Ciara: We have assigned days for the week, Movie Monday, No tech Tuesday, Wii Wednesday, Thirsty Thursday (games) :), Fun pick Friday (free pick anything goes)

Erin: Before Fruit goes bad, like bananas are to mushy or left over applesauce, strawberries..., throw them into blender with juice or yoghurt and fill into $ Dollar store popsicle form, freeze and offer as yummy dessert!

Kerry: A fun tradition in our family is making a birthday cake for Jesus for Christmas. We bake, frost, decorate and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus!

Andrea: I make my boys sit down and talk after an argument or fight. they have to tell each other what they love about one another! They focus on positives and are eager to forgive and play with each other again.

Angey: In my house the toys stay in one room. We use a 9 cube organizer with labels for specific toys.It helps them to sort and clean up and keeps the room clean.

Shine Bright, Mamas!
