Welcome to MOPS/ MOMSnext @ Crossroads in Manteca

  Hi Momma,

I’m so glad you are interested in joining our MOPS/ MOMSnext group!  MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and beyond, but we are so much more than that.  

I am Melanie and the Coordinator of this group. I joined a MOPS group about 9 years ago when I had my first child and as you can see I am STILL part of this amazing, fun and encouraging group of women. I can't seem to get away and instead I am now starting to lead this new group! It has been one of my greatest blessings, supporting me through my darkest, hardest and most difficult times as a young mother and also has been part of celebrating the greatest joys of motherhood. It has brought me my dearest, and most genuine friends and I would love for you to experience that for yourself. I promise you will not regret walking into our open and welcoming doors! We have a great team waiting to flourish with you, be brave with you and embrace the beautiful Mess of Mommyhood together with you. NO MOM ALONE!

At Crossroads MOPS/MOMSnext we welcome working moms, stay at home moms, single moms, ALL Moms.  Moms of multiples, moms who are expecting their first child, and moms that have children spanning toddlerhood to teens.  We have moms of all shapes, sizes, backgrounds and in different parts of their faith journey.  We strive to be a welcoming place that offers mentorship, honest conversation, and relevant teaching.  

During our meetings we typically enjoy a warm and uninterrupted breakfast together, listen to encouraging speakers and encouraging videos on great variety of topics, and have a time of discussion and crafts.  All of this is done child-free because we have an amazing Moppets program.  This is where you can drop off your little loves for the morning and they will play, have a snack, and do age-appropriate activities/crafts.  All this is part of your MOPS registration.

Registration for our MOPS/MOMSnext group is $91.95 (no childcare) or $121.95  (with MOPS Kids childcare) total per year. 

1. This covers the MOPS international registration fee ($31.95).

Every mom must pay for their MOPS International membership each year. This is required by MOPS International and is good for the whole year. Included with your membership is a welcome kit with surprises, a weekly mom-e-mail, and other fun freebies.

2. It also includes the Crossroads MOPS/MOMSnext dues ($60- no childcare or $90 - with MOPS Kids childcare- paid by semester $30/$45 each paid at the beginning of the fall/spring semester)

These dues pay for amazing speakers, loving childcare, fun crafts, hospitality and general supplies, etc.  Think about it- only $90 will pay for 30 hours of loving childcare, great food, lots of fun with new friends and hear encouraging messages/speakers! It is a great deal! Most moms find that it is well worth the cost, but if finances are an issue please contact me directly for scholarship information.  We don’t want that to be a reason for you to not join us.  

We are meeting inside Crossroads Grace Community Church on 1505 Moffat Blvd in Manteca. 

We meet every 2^nd and 4^th Wednesday, September through May, from 9:30-11:30am. 

We will kick off the fall semester on Wednesday, September 11, 2019!
